THE FORBIDDEN ZONE

‘The Forbidden Zone’ which premiered at Berlin’s legendary Schaubühne uniquely combines theatre, live cinematography with text by Duncan Macmillan. In this British and German collaboration, Katie Mitchell depicts the lives of three women at the heart of one of the 20th century’s grandest tragedies. Splendid Berlin presents exclusive images taken by photographer Heike Schneider-Matzigkeit at the final dress rehearsal in Berlin.
